Stay detached.. soar high.. (30.1.2011)

We, Gulls of sea-water,
Migratory birds of water,
Dance on waves on water,
Swim ‘n’ enjoy all along in water!

Take occasional dips in water,
Eat and relish from water,
Keep our plumes from getting wet with water
Or you can say we stay detached even to drops of water!
Although we seem always alert in water
We love also to soar high above water!

"We, Seagulls and You Humans!"

"We, Sea-gulls and You Humans!"
(30th Jan. 2011)

God Bestowed Webs for us, to swim all along the water,
You humans need man-made boats to go on water!
God Bestowed Wings for us, to soar high in the sky
You humans need man-made flying-machines to fly!
God Bestowed Legs for us, to take a stroll,
You humans need man-made four wheels to roll!

We get-up early, search for food
Whatever little we get, we eat.
You humans are never content
Going on searching, clothes, things ‘n’ lots of food,
Hunting doctors’ aide, to de-stress ‘n’ sleep,
And to digest over-load of cooked food, so heap!
We need no pills or gym; or housing loans or wealth,
For exercise we fly or swim; ‘n’ fast for health,
We are little birds of nature, ever content,
We can always perch on trees, ‘n’ fall asleep.

The Seagulls at Abra!

"The Seagulls at Abra!"

(30th Jan. 2011)

Walking along the Creek-side
Watching flying sea-birds-
Being one with the white birds
Kept soaring above! O my mind!

Sea-gulls, so pure and white
Ear-tops like-black a dot,
Looks like innocent dolls
Enjoying dance on the waves.

With pink so short, legs they swam,
Clear water showed their dancing webs,
At times dipped head down, now ‘n’ then,
Took a moment’s pause, then alert again.

Flying above, stretching their legs,
Straight they kept legs underneath their tail.
Below their wings, seems so cloud-like grey
Though white as snow, their cute  light body.
Lesser the ego, so, high up they could flew
To soaring heights, that man never knew!
